"Stella"

Scan000010966, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Wade. this is the first little elephant I ever trained while on the Polack Show in 1966 and we named her "Stella" after the Concession Manager's wife. As you can see I had a dog chain around her neck which worked fine until Smokey pointed out that they have a built in handle right on the front of their face. Not only does holding their trunk introduce them to the grip of authority but also keeps them out of things while walking then around.
