With all the pictures and talk of the Red and Blue over the past couple of days. I thought I'd send in a few photos of the Lord of the Rings.
The showman in the ring, on the street and a peaceful moment in the back yard.

Buckles,
This male always appeared to me to have weak looking, underdeveloped tusks. Was that the case, or just my inexperienced eye seeing things?

Gunther had two Asian males on the Red Show in the 1980's-90's, "Sabu" and "Prince" one had a nice brace of ivory the other less so.
Just depends on the Genetics of the individual. Some have no ivory at all and I am told they are the most vicious in the wild since they have to be more diabolical to compete with the tuskers.

Thank you. I never realized that males without tusks were tougher. But it makes perfect sense.
Declawed tigers tend to roar much louder and more aggressively then their equipt comrades. They tend to make the first move at any sign of unreast. A male elephant without tusk's seems to be such a waste. Sad, like a deposed monarch without a crown.

I have seen the picture of clown Tuba defending humanity against the Jedi Storm Troopers, so rest assured, I am quaking and trembling as we speak, giving you a 9 out of 10 on the rampaging male elephant scale. LoL
