Gee Gee and her alligator!

GG riding alligator, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Fearing a loss in his investment George had the croc stuffed. He then went out and bought a few dozen baby alligators and placed them in the cage along side the stuffed croc. He assembled couriers and poster art to advertise the attraction and even staged a publicity photo of four year old Gee Gee riding the stuffed croc. Mom says she never liked that photo and from the look on her face picture it appears to be true. My grandmother Vates Engesser once told me that the stuffed croc was a money maker and saved the season. Everything about it is appealing! Bill Powell
