The location was on 1st Avenue in between an old school and a white two story house. I spoke to a gentleman named Chip Curington at the old school today. It is still part of the school district, used for administration now. He said his wife knew quite abit more than he did about the accident and that his mother , now in her 80's was actually there. I also spoke to a lady at the Historical Soc. that said the lady in the white house was a little girl and was looking out of a window and saw Diamond go after Mrs Donahue. I read in " Slim" Lewis's book that they were watering animals in front of the school and the only fireplug I found is on the opposite side of the school? Mr. Curington told me that back then the actual streets were brick on top of bos-darc. I know I just butchered the spelling sorry! Anyway, he said the old water lines under the streets were made of the same. I hope to get more correct info in the future? I had the locals trying to remember exactly were, so ?
