It could be argued that in Salt Lake City in 1930 Ms Noonan wasn't the only person in town with more than one spouse. Perhaps she reckoned it was just a local custom.

Certainly this would no doubt be the woman that Red Sonnenberg is referring to.

I am sure that a great Law-abiding citizen like Mr. Floyd King would certainly not want to get caught doing anything illegal//////.

Luke Anderson told me that one of his jobs was to be at the designated truck stop and pay for all the trucks after they had been fueled.
Toward end there was no money in the office and on a Saturday night he had to pay with a blank check.
The next morning Mr. King asked, "Did they take the check OK?" and upon learning they had inquired, "Would it be too far out of the way to swing by that place again on the way to the next town?

Unfortunaely, this misguided young woman would not be the last to use "fraud and deception" to win the trust of an unsuspecting circus man. Even in these modern times, stories such as the one you have just read, play themselves out on circus lots around the world. BEWARE !!-BJ

Mr. Burck found out the older generation can also be pretty trecherous with the "fraud and deception".BJ

that might explain how wade got to be president of the he-man woman hater's club. LOL.

wait a minute. i haven't seen him in around the blog for a while. who has the 411 on this? is he alright?

hmmm. casey's been conspicuously absent as well. could there have been a clandestine fiesta road trip?

enquiring minds want to know!

Sandy,
Maybe we just got busy. It happens you know. I am starting to resent the "women hater" label also.
Sometime's it takes a whole lifetime to run into a "fraud and deception" as stated by BJ. When it happens, you don't want to profile and think everyone is the same. Just that individual and their historic pattern of the same behavior.

Sandy,
I am here, alive and well. I got home a spent a couple days going through the posts I missed while out working last week. I have been quiet, as I revel in the hypocrisy. "what hypocrisy" you ask. Well when I left the MC fest scandal was in full roar. Wade was a jerk for hinting that the whole thing was rigged. However upon my return I see that, not only was this theory proven, but we had people giving kudos and accolades to the people who were unveiling the fraud. I am afraid to put my fingers in that cage any more, saw some fingers get taken off. And my character is to low to withstand any assassination...

...I must agree with Wade about the Woman Hater thing Sandy. It has gone a bit to far, if there is one thing I know about Wade Burck is he loves women, lots of women....right Dear?...Margaret.

hi wade. when i wrote that remark, i envisioned you and your buddies as spanky & alfalfa and the gang having their little hmwh club meeting, talking smack about girls. until that cutie darla moved in next door, then all bets were off. favorite line: spanky saying "a potato doesn't stand a chance now, mom!" as he cleans his ears.

wade, i apologize for the comment and i'll lay off that theme as long as you do. i'm glad to know you & casey were just busy.

hey casey, i'm hearing what you're saying. and the proof is in the archives, lest anyone deny what they said (typed, posted, whatever).

don't worry, in my eyes, you are a HUGE character!

;)

Sandy,
That's much nicer then Elephant Sandy, by the way. I didn't go near any theme, you assumed. If I say I don't like what that dog did, don't assume I don't like dog's. Just assume I have a problem with that particular dog.

Margaret,
Thank's. For what it's worth, I ran into an older female counter part of me when I was young, and with respect, you were a saint, and I had to take a "walk in your shoe's", to understand.
All my best,
Wade

I think ElephantSandy was going by your historic behavior, Wade. Couldn't you just accept her apology and let it go?

Anonymous said...

Velcro,
Of course not. I was an apology riddled with stipulations. I was hoping to help her understand her misinterpretation.
