On our annual trip to Venice Florida, we met up with old friends, some we have not seen for many years, my mother was very pleased to see and chat with John and Mary Ruth Herriott at the Sarasota Circus, we also visited Sue and Rudi Lenz, at their house in Venice, unfortunately neither Sue or Rudi where at the Sarasota Circus, as Rudi was under going surgery for a hip replacement, hope by now Rudi you are up and running. |

Thank you for sharing these photos; it's a pleasure to see everyone.
We should have some more non-controversial European/American participation on the blog.
Have a great '08!
Richard and Janet,
Thanks for sharing the photos, nice to see the Gebel's together, friends that we have not had the oppotunity to visit with for awhile.

Buckles,
My hat is off to you and Shannon, your blog has brought back a lot of pleasant memories. The historical commentary is great! Plus it keeps me in touch with the circus, from the desolate plains of Kansas,
Erik Jaeger
Operator,
With all due respect, as far as I know, none of these fine individual's have ever bandied about with the statement, "Europe rules, and America suck's." That will often cause a "controversial" statement in defense of the "good ole USA." If you have ever spend some time in the European circus scene, you will soon realize it is a "hot topic" over there.

Mr. Burck,
Having worked with folks in the above photo and having lost touch over the years it was a delightful surprise to see everyone again.
Must you argue about everything?
When someone wishes you good morning, do you automatically take the opposing view.
Please don't respond to me, I've deleted your presence from my reality. In others words your call has been LOST.
O,
Just a thought, not a response.
I don't argue, I look at an opposing viewpoint. It help's me look at both side's of an issue, based on fact's. Or I defend. If you can delete at random, maybe you have no reality.
Wade Burck
