Yes, I believe he was the son of the man who did this cannon act.

Also this was the old Wilno cannon. From what I know of it, the truck and cannon was destroyed in a wreck in Mexico in late 1964.
In 1965, a semi trailer cannon was built and used on Beatty Cole by Munoz. It then went off and did spot dates, and was eventualy handed down to his sons.

It is my understanding that this was Luis Munoz' father's cannon and Luis and his brother, Chris (Potato the Clown) both worked the cannon.
Luis, besides his excellent low-wire, had a dog act of dobermans that went to Japan for Ringling's first venture to the Land of the Sushi Bars.
Last time I saw them, several years, Chris was working for Serge Coronas' Circus Hollywood and Luis was being propelled into the galaxy on Dickie Garden's Sterling and Reid Circus' "Get out of Town" edition.

Mr. Perry,
I don't have their phone numbers, but here is an around-a-bout way of contacting the Family Munoz.

Go to www.circuspace.com, then in members find Crystal Coronas, her father (Serge) hired Chris (Potato the Clown and former projecticle prior to caloric intake syndrome). Chris is Luis' brother.

Leave Crystal an message that you are trying to locate MUNOZ.

This is not the most direct, but it should prove successful.

Good day mate.
