Buckles seeing those Ring Bros pictures remeinds Me of a story I heard. One year Rings Bros Circus showed Ocean City, MD as Ring Bros and when it left it was Richards Bros. I beleive Kenny Ikert told my brother and I that story years ago on the Hoxie Show.

P S Mr Cole I would enjoy seeing some more of those Ring Bros pictures if you have any. I met Franco and Lucy when they were on the Hoxie Show.
OK, maybe I'm just not old enough for this one -- but I can't remember ever seeing such an odd looking trailer. Reminds me of a trolley. I know that "streamlining" was popular in the era, but was this common?
These old circus truck photos were taken by John Cutler (1913 - 1979) a well known circus historian who lived in Newport, RI.
This particular truck may have originaly been a semi type bus.
Very interesting trailer here. I'm guessing it is a sleeper? Were there many like this or it is a custom? Very train car-esque.
I believe this trailer was on the 1946 Sparks Show(Jimmy Edgar). Think was used as a band sleeper.
Somewhere I have a photo of it.
If any of you remember, the '33 Chicago worlds fair had buses of this type. There are also toy buses of this era that say Chicago Worlds Fair that are available on e-bay in antique malls and at flea markets.
