Next to Cole Bros, I grew up as a kid anticipated Vibel's visit to Ocean City, NJ while we were on vacation. My mom was forced to take me extra early in the morning to watch the tent go up. Always a great family show that I really miss.
Did any one particular show pick up a significant number of the Vidbel outdoor towns?
Nice to hear Chris, Diane and I planned our summers for many years around where and when Vidbel's would be playing. They booked many great acts and over the years had some of the best clowning on the road at the end of the 20th century (Mike Snider, Billy Vaughn, Scott O'Donnell, and John
(Eggroll) Kane. Twenty plus years ago Buckles told us we should make a point to catch Vidbel's Olde Tyme Circus and when we did, give his best to AL & Joyce. We did and our lives have been blessed ever since.
Ben: Alain Zerbini has gotten a number of old Vidbel dates and has been well-received repeating some towns for a number of years now, including our own hometown which hadn't had a circus since Hoxie in the 70's. I believe Kelly-Miller has got a few too. Many of these dates have transitioned from MILLS Bros to Hoxie (Hoxie-Great American) to Vidbel to Zerbini and in NJ some dates were old Hunt Bros.
Does anyone know how Harry and June Mills and their lovely daughter Peggy are??
Damn everything but the circus~!

I have always looked forward to bring my family to Vidbel's Olde Tyme Circus. In the past our fundraisers each year was geared around them. It would be nice to see them again
I was in Vidbels Circus as a kid and did a tumbling act when i was about five. I grew up with my older sister Jenny and Susie i always remember going to New Jersey and going to the boardwalk. It was one of the greatest experiences going up on the Circus.
