Baby Karen/Commerford Zoo at the Middletown, NY Fair. I believe she was newly acquired, don't know other elephant, possibly Nellie, mid 80's.

hey mike i think this would be about 1986,karen now weighs about 8,000 pounds ,and i was 13 with a lot of hair

The last time I saw Karen, within the past year, I was very impressed with her size and thought, "That's Baby Karen?"

86 would be about right because the following winter I started promoting your PET EXPO shows during the winter.

Also, 86 rings a bell because that's the last time you got your hair cut, isn't that correct?
