I had mentioned a few days ago my anticipation as a kid for the Vidbel's circus to arrive in NJ. One year after watching the big top rise, my mom took me to the diner right next to the lot for breakfast. I knew the couple seated at the next table were "the circus owners" and told my mom, who later asked as they were leaving, "Are you Mr. and Mrs. Vidbel?" "My son looks forward to your show every year!" I thought my mom was the coolest mom ever since she talked with "the circus owners," a dream I had as a kid to be. They were a very gracious couple to meet.
