SARASOTA alive and well in the CIRCUS WORLD..Starting with Sarasota Tribune today. The "TICKET" Section had a front page picture and story inside on Vincenta PAGES. A real collectors item. What a beautiful young lady and someone we should be proud of in the Circus World. Now, for the big surprise tonight for the oldtimers that remember the circus mural on the front of Robarts (Jim Cole) if you have a camera bring it. Maybe we can get it posted on the Blog tomorrow. The mural has been rehab. reports, Ringling picking up the tab. See for yourself tonight.
SIDEBAR Comment: Local ABC TV gave Ringling a great spot on the morning TV Show. But, as they were talking about the Gold Unit opening tonight they were showing slips of CIRCUS SARASOTA, recognized Karen and Greg DeSanto, and Dolly Jacobs just to name a few Circus Sarasota performers in performing in Circus Sarasota big top....Hope to see a large group of Circus Fans and kinkers tomorrow at CIRCUS PAGES - Armory - Arcadia, FL and Saturday at GIBTOWN, Sunday, Ring of Fame Inductees....SLEEPLESS IN SARASOTA!
Sarasota ABC TV must read Buckles Blog because the NOONDAY News program apologized to Ringling for running the CIRCUS SARASOTA footage. Strange I didn't hear any apology to Circus Sarasota.
Congratulations Wuppertal!! Thanks to your dedication, care and love of animals this world is one elephant, BETTER!
