Taken when the park first opened, this shows Ben, Barbara and "Anna May" working in an area almost as desolate as the Slivers and Jo pictures.

"Desolate" is right! There was the "big top", the elephant ride, that one performance ring, (with a rubber mat that was laced together...making it nearly impossible to quickly scoop up ponderous pachyderm poo during the act!) Jack Joyces' Camel Ride and the Carousel. I also remember the building by the big top with the word "Donniker" painted on it. That's when you taught me my first "circus" word!
