This gentleman has a big following with the horsey set. My brother mentioned him back in the '90's when I believe he performed at several showjumping events in Canada.
There is agood video of him on youtube.com. Search "lorenzo international horse show".
He has a great video on You Tube, "Lorenzo National Horse Show."
That You Tube video is without a doubt the most amazing and beautiful riding I have ever seen.

Beautiful and incredible! Something like this sure would fill an arena floorspace lacking ringcurbs! How critical, however, is it to have a dirt floor rather than rubber mats for this type of riding? I do think it would sell to American audience today.
For those who might not take the time to search on YouTube, here are some links and, without question, everyone should look at these! Lorenzo’s promotional video is at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9_mdwvU1Gc&NR=1
and I might note that it has been marked a "favorite" by a huge number of viewers. An audience member shot a nice sequence you can see at

Also, a French TV interview has some wonderful views of training, just be patient as you’ll first hear a French newscaster. (Perhaps Ringling might get his brother Julien to train some horses and riders.)

The following repeats many shots from the promo but has several wonderful additional scenes:

Once you are on YouTube, it will bring up other links to Lorenzo and similar horse acts. But the above are some “must sees” of this wonderous act!

Not bad but are those inflatable hurdles?
Yes, they sure look and act like inflatables but also note the usual steeplechase wooden bars. There is a YouTube video that shows Lorenzo getting in some trouble going over one and the inflatables bounce along under one of the horses for a short distance. Because it was interesting to see how he handled the situation, I tried to include it with the others I sent but could not find it again. Sorry!

These aren't Lorenzo but rather show Europe's Equestria show for 2007. Again, some interesting displays traditionally found in the circus:

From the previous year in Equestria 2006 you can see a nice waltz and rear as well as a lengthy hide leg walk under saddle:

And finally an all-too-brief promotion video:

Again, the question of how much of this kind of show could work on rubber mats? Col. Herriott, others, please?

For those interested, his website is www.lorenzo.fr
Mr. Flint,
The good Col. probably missed this poste, otherwise I am sure he would have responded to you by now. Because I did spot it, I can probably answer for him by simply saying, "not much."

P.s. None the less, it is sharp.
