Richard Chipperfield (1905-1988)was father to Dicky Chipperfield (on Ringlings in 1970s). The 'Richard Chipperfield' in this picture is Dicky's son (ie grandson to Richard 1905/1988). The 'Mrs Chipperfield' in the picture is Richard's Mum, Janet.

Richard Chipperfield (1905/1988) had a brother Jimmy Chipperfield (1912/1990), he was Mary Chipperfield's father. The 'Richard Chipperfield' who caught elephants in Uganda was Mary Chipperfields brother. Sadly Richard died in Uganda in 1975.; 22 January, 2008 05:42
