Who painted this show? In 1964,I know that Roger Boyd Sr. did a lot of Acme's painting of the trucks for all of the shows. Was he also the painter for all of the shows in 1962?

Roger Boyd did the painting on all 3 DeLand shows. I was in 8th grade when I first saw these Sells and Gray trucks and from that time on I loved Roger's work. In fact, I still use his style when possible as a show painter. Denny Gilli
Thanks Denny,
I always liked Roger and remember at the end of the show when he had to kill some time or the sideshow didn't turn everybody before the show. He named just about everybody that had a big name was in the sideshow, which would remain open for one full and complete performance after the circus was over. I especially liked the fact that George Dickle the "wonder worker" would appear in this performance. To those of you who are not acquainted with George, pay a visit to your local liquor store.
