Orton Bros. Circus 1920's #2

Side Show bally in progress. All this stuff went overland, the animals walked from town to town. Like everything else, this pit show was assembled from the ground up, no walk-thrus.

It occured to me that the elphants and lead stock must have been in tip top condition as a result of their nightly walks. I bet their pads and nails rarely had to be trimmed. What was an average jump for a show of that size?

My dad told me that both elephants and camels grew incredibly large from traveling with overland shows.
He said the Mighty Haag stock marched from Louisiana to the Canadian border and back one season.
