Jeez, gotta wonder if the 24 hour man really arrowed the trucks beneath that underpass?

I bought this trailer from Johnny Pugh, many years ago. It now rests in peace at the Circus Pages W.Q.'s in Myakka City.
Also bought #62 bull trailer at the same time, along with the donniker trailer. Both of these trailers were sold to Ted Svertsky. He, inturn, sold the donniker trailer. Last I knew #62 was still in Williston.

Jim,
When I visited Williston a few years ago, Harry Locker a real good friend of mine gave me the v i p tour of the place number 62 was still there.
He gave me some of what was left in it for my collection.
I was really surprised to see a Beatty Cole trailer at a Ringling facility.
Universol got the old Beatty Cole office trailer as the 24 hour man pointed it out to me.

Carson and Barnes route marker usually had a long stick to check underpasses. The few times that I arrowed the show, I was lucky and only had iterstate bridges to pass under.

Wasn't this trailer originally built by Ben Davenport?

What a day on BUCKLES BLOG..If my memory serves me right the elephant rig initially came from Ben Davenport. It was an old war Army Tank carrier. Mr.Bobby Cline was attemptinmg to either miss a scale or toll road and ran into big problems. I remember Carin Cristiani coming into Greenwood,SC Hanneford date with the old Cristiani elephants during the 90's with a similar trailer that was initially a Ben Davenport rig. Once settled in the back yard Carin had to load elephants and pull the rig out to make a downtown promotion. This was not a simple job to do. But, with some expect driving this rig was out and on its way with elephants to downtown Greenwood.

Ah, the old scale or toll road excuse...more recently supplanted by the "I used the GPS" excuse favored by my older kid.

Speaking of scales, I remember stories on this blog of an elephant being taken out of a truck and chained to0 a tree while the truck went over a scale and the driver doubled back, after chaining the first elephant to a tree and picked up the first elephant and went through the scale. Anyone remember the story?

Or the driver who sped up to the scale and slammed on the brakes. The elephants in the truck began swaying and the weight person couldn't read the scale which was going up and down.
