Share certificate my grandfather had bought. Our family had a great association with English circus's after the 2nd world war. Chipperfields, Smarts, Robert Bros, Bertram Mills, etc. Booking acts, buying animals. Had the pleasure of working with Dicky Chipperfield in New Zealand 1988-89 with our elephants, my dad and Dicky had not seen each other in 18 years or so, but they soon made up for it. Nothing I could print here. Real showmen! |

I had a couple of Mattel/Ringling shares framed on the wall - what do you think they're worth now?

People still pay good money for old railroad stock certificates that have been cancelled, so why wouldn't your Matel stock be worth something in say 80 or 90 years.
I also have some Mattel/Ringling Shares - Received one of those high class catalogs advertising various items and a framed Mattel/Ringling Certificate with a Popcorn Bag included had an asking price of $1.500.00. Markeno
You can find the Mattel / RBBB stock certificates on eBay quite regularly in the 150.00 range. There were three backgrounds printed being Red, Blue, and Green.
Someone offered all three in the same auction. That went a little bit higher naturally.
Word of warning: There are reproductions out there. The one I have is smaller that the original and was listed as a reproduction.
