I think I also cut a fine figure in the type wardrobe shown below. |

Very attractive, isn't it?
You should wear this when you meet JRN2 in Hugo next March.
Or at least wear it to the club; free drinks are guaranteed.
I've never been to Europe, the closest I ever came was when Kenny talked about flying Barbara, Ben and "Anna May" to the Monte Carlo Festival years ago and even that would have excluded me since I had the remaining Ringling elephants to tend to.
Seeing today's pictures makes me want to see some of those shows but I fear that by the time I get there, Tim and Chris will have hired all the good acts.
I always knew you were a man of large statue, but never realized just how much you dwarfed your elephants!
It's time to take that vacation to Europe and enjoy yourself a little. The two of you certainly earned it working 24/7 for so many years unselfishly to see to it that your girls were always the priority to be taken care of properly.
Merry Christmas!
Carl
No, the closest you ever came was when you got married in Paris, Texas, and told Barbara you'd take her to that other Paris someday.
You might want to think about it- None of us is getting any younger.
Un-Jumbo
Buckles, if you're ever really considering going "across the pond",let Diane and me know, maybe we could get a group rate.
I was lucky enough, by chance, to see Krone once when I was stationed in southern (then west) Germany. I had no camera with me and never got a program, talk about being in awe of the whole thing and very frustrated at the same time. These photos you just put up of these wonderful European circuses and all you do on the blog just make a circus lover feel so good. It sort of reminds me too of my spontaneous response when asked by a reporter at the Big E why I and countless other Circus Fans drive "so far" just to see (just to see indeed) a circus.
I immediately said, "Because when you get there, it makes you feel so damn good!" They didn't publish it.
