One of the McCoy stock cars ended up on the ground in the vicinity of Washington, D. C., in a RF&P yard. It was apparently utilized for storage. It endured until the 19606-1970s and perhaps later, then it was scrapped. It may have been cleared for Metro system expansion. Few had any knowledge of its existence.
