What a Nice Showcase of Photos .
I find the Props most Interesting in Design .
a Little Rascals flavor if you will
A Truly Thrilling Adventure for this Lad to say the Least .
This picture was taken in Mexico City when I worked six months with Circo Fernandi, which at the time was probably the largest circus in Mexico. We worked on a very tight lot on San Juan de Letran street in front of the old Mercado San Juan. Two shows daily Monday thru
Friday, three on Saturday and FOUR
on Sunday. I closed each performance. Fernandi had a huge male Indian elephant that his son-in-law presented. His surname was Ozeda and originally from Brazil. Tough was not enough to decribe him. His handler was a young fellow from Mexico. More info later if anyone wants it.

Yeah, tell us more.
Hi Manny and Baru,
Yes, please tell us more on you and how you decided to be the World's Youngest Wild Animal Trainer.
Also how you met Clyde Beatty and making the Republic Serial Darkest Africa.
Did Republic pay you more than $75 as that is what Roy Rogers made.
I met Manuel many years ago on the circus lots around Houston, Texas and he is one of the nicest show folks you will ever meeet. He always a a big smile on his face.
A great friend of the circus fans.
Harry
yes please tell us more and show us more pics .its a real pleasure .were you born in the Rio Grande valley?
I had heard of a young boy working cats over the years but never believed the 'stories'
I can't even imagine a young boy training with a man who had lost his arm to a cat! At least you knew the dangers and seriousness of what you were going to do straight up!
Please tell us more!
