HEY WADE!
Somebody stole your boots.
Seriously, I hope todays traditional circus doesn't go the way of the Wild West Shows and become out of fashion with the general population.
What a downright shame that would be.
My mind is drawing more of a blank than usual - who had the show out of Toccoa, GA in the 60's that featured Col Tim McCoy?? I never saw the show but saw his house - it was built to look like an oriental tea house with the tiered roofs- very unique for the area. cc
Once about thirty-five years ago Mary Jane and I were in Ontario with the Hanneford advance and we saw Tommy Scott billed in one town as we were making a jump.
I had known the Colonel on Carson and Barnes so we went by the building to renew acquaintances but unfortunately Col McCoy had gone fishing and we missed him.
He was certainly well-liked on Carson and Barnes and a real hit with the natives.
Yup, it was Tommy Scott - had all those spiffy busses too. Thank you. cc
Check out Doc Tommy Scott new book. He told about the his time with Col Tim McCoy. Here the way to get the book. http://tommyscott.net/
