Clyde Beatty #1 (From Dion)

beatty one, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

Greetings Buckles
I just scanned these photos. The prints were made in the early 50's in Northern Wisconsin. As I understand it, one can never see too many photos of the master showman. Sincerely, Dion

From Eric:

Col. Herriott,

If I'm not mistaken, you used a very similar announcement to introduce Jon Zerbini (in his pre-Tarzan days) on the 1962 Mills Bros. Circus.

I note the Gun Boy was lazy at the time. He didn't get the white shoe polish from the whip box, as Mr. Beatty is carrying a tan helmet yet to be converted.
