It's interesting to see this FUN Add / Promotional ARTWORK comming in from Down Under & of that Era .
My ex-wife Shar came from Laverton outside Melbourne where her dad had a couple pony sweeps and some kiddie rides and worked in the off-season at the RAF base. He was a huge Bullen's fan and in the garage behind the Holden once you fought your way through the Redback spiders he had boxes and boxes of snapshots and paper from the '50's. I'm still close to my ex and her dad is in his 90's now and he still complains that there isn't a show left down in OZ with a real herd of bulls. I think these days when one of the kids takes him to see Jos Ashton or Circus Royale with their cows and camels he thinks that something just isn't as it should be.

Ben, your ex's Dad is quite right - there is not a REAL circus left in Australia now. Looking at the art work from Bullen's [and some of the the other shows were nearly as good] it does not seem possible that we lost it all in just 50 years. Steve Robinson.
