When I joined up with Tommy H as a 17 year old, it was Roy who picked me up a the Bus Station in Sarasota. Roy had Tourettes syndrome. Scared the hell out of me the whole way to Osprey with his outbursts.
I also remember playing the Tuskegee Insitute. Roy was waiting at the back door and many black students were hanging around.
Roy's outbursts often had to do with African Americans and their mothers (not in those words). It's amazing there wasn't as minor race riot.
Chandra and Ina loved Roy. After he had been gone from the show for a while, he paid a visit. When the elephants heard his voice, the trumpeting and squealing was deafening, they were so happy to see their friend again.

I also remember the Tuskegee Institute in 1974 with Roy. It was not a comfortable situation.
On a different note I suspect that the lead punk must have been Chandra, although I can't confirm. I think that originally she was the lead elephant in a 5 herd that Hunt improted.
