As you can see, one of the two remaining giraffe wagons is at Circus World Museum also. The other remaining Giraffe wagon is at Peru's Hall of Fame. Mr. Reynolds, is it safe to assume that the giraffe wagons were loaded in the cage cut section of the train?

The wagon to the right is the Yellow Ticket Wagon from Ringling Bros.
After discussing this with Dom Yodice today, I believe I'm mistaken about a 2nd Ammo cage. Apparently the train photo was taken in 2004 also and the one outside was three weeks ago making it in fact the same cage. Sorry for any confucion.

Glad to see all the wagons that had been saved. Back in the early 70's Mel Miller went to work for Astroworld here in Houston to set up a circus display for the Judge. They had the show here in the summer of 69' for 3 months at the Astrohall. They had gathered some wagons from the wrecking yard down from the old winterquarters in Sarasota. Anyways the late Tex Dreyfus got us in to see the wagons and inventory and measure them for Jim Caldwell. He was doing articles about them at the time. Well Judge Hofheinz passed away and the project was forgotten. I always wondered what became of that group of wagons?

This just shows that the management of CWM has their collective head where the sun don't shine. To put all this scrap iron in the barn and let the real wood, highly carved wagons outside to rot apart shows how much they really care about preserving history.
