Barnett Bros. Circus early 1930's #8

Tommy Burns does a promotion in 1934 with "Freida" newly acquired from the LaMont Show replacing "Gyp" who had died.
The show must have been in the chips this year since they also leased the five 101 Ranch elephants presented by Eddie and Jean Allen bringing the herd to nine.

Fredia was on this show from 1933 - '36 and 1938 - '39

Reminds me of Kelly-Miller in the late 40's and early 50's. However, I wouldn't want to drive this truck on a rain slicked highway with the front end that high.
