There may be some young readers of this blog who are not aware that when it was decided to take the Ranch title back on the road in 1925, the Miller brothers bought Andrew Downie's Walter L Main show and utilized much of that equipment, together with other purchases, to accomplish the rebirth.
This ticket wagon, the elephant act, and probably most of what is pictured here came from the 1924 Main show.
Unfortunately the new Ranch show did not thrive as had its earlier manifestation and it closed in mid 1930.
A brief and unsuccessful 1931 attempt did the show in for good.
