According to Philadelphia Toboggan Company records & research by Richard A. Gardner and Barbara Williams this is PTC #34. When RAS acquired Rubin & Cherry this grand carousel replaced the former PTC #27 and became a prominent attraction on the RAS midway. Royal American Shows then sold the entire & intact carousel to Dorney Park (1985?) in Allentown, PA. Dorney in 1986 then sold the carousel to Red Robin Auctions of Atlanta GA. Bob Brown of Red Baron Auctions in a telephone conversation with me on 03/31/15 stated that they set up the carousel without any difficulty and it operated with only minor adjustments followed by a little clean up. They eventually sold off the entire carousel. The current status or whereabouts is unknown Richard A. Marvez
