Ringling-Barnum 1941 #4

This picture is a good example of elephants at work but is slightly confusing since there are two sets of flat cars sitting side by side. The nearest flats are the ones being unloaded.
This team is pulling one or two wagons (depending on the load) by a ring attached to the front corner while the wagon is steered (poled) by hand.
The team in the background is waiting to bring the another load.
