WA44, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. I was looking for a picture I took of Harry painting the 1961 Carson and Barnes show. Never did find it but this turned up. It's marked Wallace Bros 1944, so you were on the Cole show by then. Thought you might recognize some of the kids. Whitey "These are the Gallaghers, I knew them at a later time, used to know all their names but no longer. The second from left is Bonnie, the last three are Muggsy, Tiny (Galla Shawn) and Jimmy? I was in school at Hot Springs in the Fall of '49 when I first saw K-M in nearby Hope, Ark. my dad had already joined the show and I was delighted to see all these young ladies but to my disappointment the act was disbanded at the close of the season. The elephants in the background are "Downie Babe", Marian, "Cora", "Addie" and "Inez", the last four being the former Cocoa Cola bulls. In the Fall of '44 all were sold to Clyde Beatty." Buckles
