The Spanish big top was probably inspired by Cirque Phenix from France here portrayed. Phenix was created in year 2000 by produced Alan Pacherie, to present every winter in Paris big circus productions, such Moscow Circus on Ice, Circus from China, etc. including the Festival of Tomorrow Circus. It is erected every year in October at Pelouse de Reuilly in Paris, where it stays until February. Artistic director of Phenix is Pascal Jacob, former designer of RBBB.
Cirque Phenix size is 58 X 78 meters. It is completely sustained by 6 archs each long 100 meters. Seating is 5000 for the circus configuration, 9000 for frontal stage set.
The set up requires about a week.
It is considered the largest circus big top on the planet today.
