I'm not familiar with this circus, or this young man. Does he present the elephant's on this show? Thank you for any information. Wade Burck
He is tthe circus directors son. Ithink at the begining of last year they also aquired 2 indian elephants from a circus in Italy, until last year this circus had a large amount of exotic animals. Not shure now.
Wade, apparently this is a Swiss-German circus. The name is Circus Fliegenpilz.
I believe the the african Sonya was bought from circus Belly in Austria, shortly before elephants became prohibited on circus in austria, and Wanna Banna and Delhi the two asians came through circus Lidia Togni in Italy from Corty Althoff, inherited from his father Carl Althoff.

This is the Swiss Lars Hölscher with Sonja (32y.o.). She came from Austria with an other Asian who died a few days after they joined the Circus Fliegenpilz in Germany.
Lars is now performing with some of Fliegenpilz animals (3 elephants, giraffe, rhino and zebras) with the Circus Probst in Germany.
The Circus Fliegenpilz was created in Switzerland in 1981 but is touring in Germany most of the time since 1986. That show is famous because of it's Circus under Water display and one of the richest menagerie (elephants, giraffe, rhino, hippo, sea lions, lots of exotics, horses, a pigs liberty, birds and more in 2006).
In 2007 Fliegenpiz is touring with a much reduced show.
I'm not certain, but I believe Sarah Houcke worked horses on this show before she came to the US. Now she has horses with Roncalli in Germany.
