When I picked up three babies Obert, Kelly, and Tracey, to work in Denver Colorado for Howard Sueze, Okie instructed me to leave on the front and back chains, that you see, even when working the act. Month's later when Mr. Miller hired me to go to Mexico City with five Alda, Viola, Margaret,Isla, and Lillie, Okie told me the same thing. Thinking I now knew more then the "Capt.", I took them off to unload for a water stop in Hugo. Long story short, the little snots decided to head for Mexico City on foot. I caught 3, and Mr. Miller said, go to Mexico, we will find them when the show gets in. They did, 2 weeks later. The head pieces that year for the babies were lead washers held together with chain links, and their names were painted on their foreheads, for easy "identification", when they were all milling around after a spook.
