Paul Kelly Farm #17

Kelly 17, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.
Photo 17 shows one of the famed Corporation cages. Many of your historians know there were only a couple of these two arch cages built. There's a great documentation in the Bandwagon somewhere but I missed it trying to find it in a hurry tonight. These two cages ( photo 17 and 18 ) were sold at auction and both are now at the International Hall of Fame on the other side of Peru at the Corporation Winterquarters.

Bob:

Stuart Thayer's article about the Curtis-built Corporation cages was in the Nov-Dec 1971 Bandwagon.

This particular cage saw service on Hagenbeck-Wallace, Sells-Floto, John Robinson, Hagenbeck-Wallace again and finally Cole Bros.
