| Smokey said that this all ended in 1948 when enroute, a cow in a pasture caught the bull's attention and who immediately went over a fence in pursuit, unloading the Captain unceremoniously. He added that as he went to the aid of Mr. Reed, others were chasing after the bull who by this time had mounted the object of his affection while still wearing the saddle. |
