"Mickey" FREEMAN was a cousin of mine (through my Great Aunt.
Mickey's true name was Ethel Eleanor FOUNTAIN who married (at age 16) Frederick E Freeman in 1906 in Sydney, Australia. Both were Circus/ Carnival performers (mainly "bare-back" riding).
They traveled from Sydney to Vancouver (Canada) in 1922 then on to Seattle (Washington) to look for work in the Circus Profession. It appears that they were quite successful, working with many top-liners, including the world-famous Mary WIRTH.
I would be very interested to hear of any information that others may have about "Mickey"
