Bill Woodcock, Otto Scheiman and Fred Logan on the Kelly-Miller lot at Watseka, Ill. in 1951. Mr. Scheiman worked at the Studebaker Plant but on Saturdays was an usher at Notre Dame Stadium. He managed to get me a Press Pass and I spent a wonderful afternoon on the side line by the Fighting Irish bench. As it turned out Purdue won the game but alas, unlike Richard Reynolds, I don't remember the score. |
