While at the CFA Convention, John Herriott and I were presented with magnificent paintings by artist Joe Servello. Neither of us had luggage large enough include them on the return flight so Carol Zabotinsky was kind enough bring them in her car when she returned. |

It is a beautiful picture. Do you have a picture of John's?
I'm not sure if Ben took one, I'll check.
His portrait includes the entire Herriott family on horseback.
Geeze that's a beautiful portrait --it looks more like you than you do -- whatever that means -- anyhoo , now you have to find a place to hang it -- then sit back and enjoy it !
Buckles...Great pic of you and little Kay. Very smart gifts to both of you old guys that I am sure was prompted by Dave Orr's considerable insight into both you and John's careers and familys. Nice stuff...Paul
I'm so glad that the paintings finally arrived...Joe Servello, a famed Altonna, PA artist was given the commission last fall. The Buckles painting came about from his BLOG. A number of the ideas were taken right off the BLOG. Johns painting centered around the Herriott Family. Once, again a number of the ideas came from the BLOG...So, when I met with the artist I gave him all the print outs from the BLOG and pictures from my collection of John and Buckles. Joe Servello has an Art Gallery in downtown Altoona...Some of his work hangs in the Harrisburg State House...If you are ever in the Altoona area drop by the Art Gallery..
The painting is very nice but look at that precious little girl.
