Outstanding set of photos. Buckles, I like the new masthead format with rotating pictures. Shannon is a genius.
Buckles,
Great memories from Uncle Sid's operation. I remember in Bowling Green, KY when Sid let the band leader go (who was an okay guy), he screamed at the top of his lungs--"and take that blankety-blank of a wife with you", (she was a real heat merchant). The tent crew let out a cheer with this news, as everyone on the lot heard Sid's proclamation. Arranged tickets for Sid, during Kaleidosapes visit to the Bay Area, he had not changed a bit, "Hey Pal!", was how he greeted me.
All the best to you and Babs, keep up the good work. Erik Jaeger
Did Sid keep monkeys at his martinez home?
Not while I was there.
I was a big top man in 1968, great memories. 5 dollars a day and room and board.
