I never set eyes on Mr. Voice again after we left the Cole Show in 1947, despite the fact that he later became a well known Circus Producer. When I was putting the route together each year for our elephant act, I always made a bid for his annual Shrine Date in Lansing, Michigan and I'm still waiting for the first reply. Never even got a "brush off" letter.
