Pictures of the big white rhino "Goliath" on Circo Americano. That is an Italian circus title that seems to be used by several circus families. This rhino is with the Faggioni family's version. The presenter is one Eros Faggioni.

Another "Americano" circus is that of the Tognis whose extended family operates a number of Italian circuses. They feature a lot of exotic animals. Flavio Togni brought his family's Americano animals here for RBBB-Blue in 1990-91 including a male white rhino named Thor.
I got to know Flavio, and he gave me a rundown on white rhinos then with European circuses. There were then 9 others besides his Thor, including animals with Circus Caesar Togni, Circus Darix Togni, and Circus Lidia Togni.

I do not know if this Goliath is one of those Flavio listed in 1990.

In Germany we have now 3 Rhinos in Circuses !

Circus Voyage (from Lidia Togni)
Circus Barum ( still have it over 20 years)
Circus Fliegenpilz (from Alberto Althoff)
