This was the smallest of the five circuses included in the sale of the American Circus Corporation to John Ringling in the Fall of 1929.
A pretty nifty 20 car show. At the conclusion of the 1930 season Mr. Ringling decided to winter the show the RBBB quarters in Sarasota rather than the usual fairgrounds in Macon, Ga.
Unfortunately following the 1931 season he disbandoned the show altogether, absorbing the 9 elephants into the Ringling herd (bringing it up to 42) and leaving most eveything else to fall apart in the hot Florida sun.

Buckles, This proves to the world what we have all known all the time. Just how UN self centered you have always been. LOV YA
If it is any consolation, on my computer the pictures are all perfectly centered.
Don Bloomer
Who was the manager of this circus in 30-31 ?.
Wasn't it H.B. Gentry?
They also are down the center on my screen. Again, beautiful set of pixs, Buckles. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Great set of photos.
H.B. Gentry was manager for the lone Corporation-owned year of 1929 but under the Ringling regime of 1930-31, the manager was Ira Watts.
