Will Rogers said, "I never met a man I didn't like", what he meant was, when you meet someone you don't know them, so how can you dislike them. I made that mistake when I first met Ivan, who was Tent-Master on Circus Krone when we were there. I instantly took a dislike to to him, he was grumpy, and seemed rude, & belligerent. I soon discovered what was beneath all that, when there was an emergency of any kind he was the first person there. My cage boy got the wrong Tigers together one day, creating a big fight, Ivan came flying over the fence out of nowhere to help us break it up.
Juan Vasquez drove under a low gate coming onto the lot & ripped the top corner of his fifth wheel open from front to back, the day after set up Ivan & his crew were there at dawn & by evening it looked like a new trailer.

Ivan showed me some videos of his acts, "outstanding", someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the Polar Bear Act was either 18, or 22.
