Back on rails.

This early 1960's picture shows the new train designed especially for showing indoors. The wagons were built low to the ground to pass beneath low doors as well as fit into the tunnel cars.
This turned out to be a clumsy arrangement since the cars had to be spotted on a straight-away, otherwise the wagons would scrape the corners if loaded or unloaded on a curve.
Someone told me that Concello believed that without flat cars, the train could always move First Class.
