The sign hanging in the marquee says NO CASH. I wonder why?
My guess management wanted tickets only and not someone offering the ticket taker a reduced rate in cash for entrance to the show.
Art Concello solved this problem by issuing the ticket takers and ushers, uniforms without pockets.
Also signs on the candy butchers caps "15 cents, pay no more!"
1. The preshow here is FREE!!!!! not $35 to $100, and no $15 snow cones either.
2. Mid forties and the Cole show is playing Rockford Ill. and the outside temperature is upper 90's, the vendors cap says 10 cents Pay No More, the Coke cost 50 cents take it or leave it. When asked why the cap says 10 cents, the vendors reply is that was for something else and he forgot to change the price. He ran for another case as soon as the one he had was empty.
