Are elephants more nimble than we are when coming off/falling off a globe?? Do they lose their footing when they land? What prompted this question was the thought that this might be a dangerous trick for the trainer.cc
Elephants are surprisingly nimble and rolling a globe or a barrel is not difficult for them at all. It helps if it doesn't have a slick surface. We once had one made out of corrugated metal for good footing. As far as getting fallen on, the prudent trainer will stand at a distance as seen in this picture.
