African rhino Bobby joined RBBB at the date in Washington DC in 1945. So this would date the WQ guide to after that. However, this pic is not of Bobby. No, it is of Mary, the Tarzan rhino. MGM sold her to RBBB in late 1934 and she was to be a feature of the ’35 menagerie, only to die in New England early in the season. That head shot is the very same one that shows in the photo of her on p. 48 of the 1935 program.
