I understood this was quite THE place in the mid winters some decades ago . I vagely recall hearing some fasinating & colorfull descriptions of the goings on there ( especialy when the Showfolks were in town ). It sure was a Stylish Building in an excelent location .

For we non-Sarasotians, is this the building which is now the Ringling Art Museum?

This building was leveled just a few years ago. The Ringling Museum of Art is located nearby on the grounds of the John Ringling Estate.

I was able to have one memorable evening in the fabled M'Toto Room before it was too late.

Wasn't this the location of the many Rudy Bundy, Art Concello, JRN meetings, dinners, and social events?
